Intresting Stores Of Onslow Speedway
This Story Came From Reg DeYoung The one memory that I have of Onslow Speedway that never goes away was the time Rollie MacDonald went off in turn three sailed past the corner tower and set his MASCAR Late model on top of a Ford Pick-up. I mean right on the roof. Luckily, there wasn’t anybody in the truck, but Rollie wasn’t exiting from the car until someone told him so. Also, I remember the big tree on the backstretch. On any given race day there was quite a group of race fans packed into the branches of that tree. That’s all I have to offer, other than the great time I had at the track watching some of the greatest racers in the Maritimes bang fenders and being right in the thick of it.
